Notes, guidelines and rules:-
- All ages at 1st January in the current year.
- Competitors must be 4 years and over.
- One Day Events are run in accordance with British Riding Club Official Rules.
- Horses/ponies that have gained Official BE points shall be given a handicap equivalent to the number of points gained up to a maximum of 20. Horses/ponies with 21 or more BE points are ineligible to compete.
- Dressage tests are to be ridden in a snaffle bridle with either a drop, cavesson or flash noseband. Whips, martingales and commanders are not permitted.
- All riders must wear protective headgear to EN1384 and PAS015 standard at all times when mounted.
- British standard back protectors are compulsory whilst on the cross country course. BETA approved is recommended.
- Jewellery must not be worn whilst on the cross country course.
- Stop watches are not permitted whilst on the cross country course.
- Alternative fences may be available for the Open (class 5).
- Prize money to fourth, depending on number of entries.
- Trophies awarded to the highest placed members and rosettes to sixth in all classes.
- A refundable cash deposit of £2 is required on the day for competitor numbers.
- Competitors and spectators must abide by the Club Rules.
