Classes 1 to 5 are to be ridden in a snaffle bridle with either a drop, cavesson or flash noseband.  Spurs and martingales are not permitted

Notes:   1.

British Standard Hard Hats are COMPULSORY for Junior handlers in the In Hand classes and recommended for Seniors.  Handlers must be smartly dressed.

 

2.

Lead rein classes are to be ridden in a snaffle bridle with the lead rein attached to the noseband only.  Competitors entering lead rein classes are ineligible to enter classes off the lead.

Notes, guidelines and rules:-

  • All ages at 1st January in the current year.
  • Competitors must be 4 years and over.
  • Protective headgear to EN1384 and PAS015 standard must be worn by riders at all times when mounted and by junior handlers in the In Hand classes.
  • R&DRC reserve the right to refuse entries to oversubscribed classes and in the case of insufficient entries classes may be combined or cancelled.
  • Competitors and spectators must abide by the Club Rules.
