Method of Judging for Competition Horse & Pony Classes Horses and ponies enter the ring individually and will be judged according to the Ponies (UK) Performance/Competition class rules:- Phase 1 Performance & Freestyle Show 60 marks The individual freestyle show must include the following movements:- halt, walk on a long rein, 2 looped trot serpentine, extended trot on the diagonal, 2 looped canter serpentine which must include a change of lead, extended canter on the diagonal. NOT to exceed 2 minutes. Snaffles or Double Bridles only to be used. Blunt spurs may be worn. |
